I have struggled for years trying to lose weight and exercise to live a healthier life. Deciding to work with Ann has been a very positive and rewarding experience. She has helped me train for a triathlon race over the summer. Through her help, I finished the race with my personal best time and really had a chance to enjoy the race instead of barely finishing the Sprint distance. Since starting a training schedule with Ann I have lost weight and kept it off.

In August of 2016, we relocated to the area. I had tried personal training at different gyms in the past, but was not happy with the trainers. However, from the moment I met Ann, I knew she was a person that could help me meet my goals. I have been very impressed by her passion to help clients, her knowledge, and her ability to connect with clients. Ann is very caring and attentive to what each client needs, what their limits are, and how far she can push them. She encourages and motivates me to do better, and yet she knows how much I am capable of. Since Aug 2016 I have met with Ann twice a week. The outcome has been amazing!
I started working with Ann two months after my last breast reconstruction surgery. I am a two year breast cancer survivor. I got through chemo and radiation treatments, but at a price. I needed help rebuilding muscle and regaining range of motion in my arms and shoulders. More than anything I needed someone to listen to my concerns about my physical condition and hold me accountable for improving my condition. Ann was a perfect match for my situation. She was supportive, patient, tough, but sensitive to what I had been through. She laughed more with me than at me and that made me want to work harder. I'm the mother of three and I work outside the home. Ann worked with my schedule and she made very good use of our session time. I appreciated her consistency in communicating any schedule adjustments needed and her flexibility when I needed to make an adjustment. I've been working with Ann for a year and I feel I have made significant progress. I still have a ways to go, but it's a process and one I know Ann will do all she can to help me.
I have been training with Ann for more than a year now. She does a fabulous job of designing challenging workout sessions every single time and manages to keep us motivated throughout. She has a versatile knowledge and she often has improvised the exercise to suit our capabilities. My goal was to gain strength and I can proudly say that I have come a long way! When I started the process of getting back into shape Ann took the time to sit with me to understand what I was looking to accomplish. This helped set expectations and let me know that if I didn't put up the effort no matter how much I worked out it wouldn't happen. If you want to work out with someone who can push you but do it without major pressure Ann is your trainer. 1 year and 20 pounds later I will continue to use Ann to help me achieve and maintain my health goals.

Ann has been a tremendous helps in my journey to a healthier me. I was clear from the start with Ann that weight loss may come but it was not my first goal. My first goal was to feel better, be stronger, and have more stamina. This is not always what she hears, but she quickly shifted away from a calorie nutritionist approach and honored my goals. Within a month I had a steady increase of time and speed on the treadmill, amount of weights and reps and better lung capacity. With this building of my core confidence and habit building I then was able to layer in looking at calorie intake. I had some health issues and she was able to modify exercises so I got benefit without injuries. Ann can be as hard core as you want her to be, she can get you ripped and zero body fat, but what sets Ann apart, if you are honest with her she will create exercise programs that fit you goals, the way you learn the way you make changes in your life!
